The Bishop of Nebbi Catholic Diocese, Rt. Rev. Constantine Rupiny recently ordained 6 priests and 5 deacons at a ceremonial ground on 11th July 2026. He delivered a clear message on human weakness, obedience, and ministerial duties. The key points of his address included the divine choice of male apostles, practical advice for pastoral success and core sacramental duties. According to him, God uses imperfect men, refining their strengths and correcting their weaknesses through his grace. Following Jesus' example in choosing male apostles, ordination is reserved for only men, while holy women serve the Church in distinct roles. He was grateful for the charitable work being done by women in Nebbi catholic diocese. The Bishop continued to exhort deacons and priests to respect apostolic authority and willingly accept assignments to work anywhere in the diocese. The clergy should spend quality time with people, avoid jealousy, gossip, and contribute actively to diocesan success. To make inspiring homilies, the clergy are required to prepare well and, preach with clearity the Gospel of Christ Jesus. Finally, he clearly informed the priests that Confessions must remain strictly private and handled with prudence, while baptisms and blessings are to be administered in the name of the Holy Trinity.
